Manchester United will make a new-and-improved bid for Aaron Wan Bissaka, according to Sky Sports.
The Crystal Palace right-back is considered one of England’s most exciting young talents, following a superb season at Selhurst Park.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to rebuild his squad after a hugely disappointing campaign and Wan Bissaka is someone the club sees as a primary target.
They have already seen a £40milion bid for Wan Bissaka rejected at the weekend, but they aren’t giving up hope of signing him.
The report states that Palace are holding out for somewhere closer to £60million – an amount United are seemingly willing to match.
Talks between the two clubs are apparently “ongoing” and it appears likely that Wan Bissaka will end up moving on eventually.
The 21-year-old made 39 appearances for Palace in 2018/19, showing great maturity in his performances.
He also has two caps to his name for England U21s.

It would be a surprise if they didn’t get their man now.
Manchester City - 9/1
The Premier League champions are always looking at bringing in quality players – a category Wan Bissaka fits into.
Could he be a long-term replacement for Kyle Walker?
Tottenham - 12/1
Tottenham didn’t sign a single player last summer, but that will surely change this time around.
With Kieran Trippier struggling for form, Wan Bissaka would be an exciting capture.
Arsenal - 16/1
Arsenal need a rebuild after a disappointing season under Unai Emery.
The lure of staying in London could appeal to Wan Bissaka, but the Gunners don’t feel like strong contenders to sign him.
Liverpool - 22/1
The newly crowned European champions are unlikely to bid for the 21-year-old.
Jurgen Klopp already has Trent Alexander-Arnold at his disposal, while Joe Gomez can fill in at right-back, if required.
