Wan-Bissaka played for England in their 2-1 defeat to France in the under-21 European Championships on Tuesday night, scoring a stoppage-time own goal after a shaky performance.
However, his performances for Palace in the Premier League last season were enough for United to warrant splashing £55m on the right-back.
The 21-year-old nailed down his place in the Palace side and was considered to be one of the best fullbacks in the top-flight last season, although he missed out on a place in the England senior squad to Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kyle Walker.
Potential replacements for Wan-Bissaka
The young Derby fullback could be the ideal replacement for Wan-Bissaka. He impressed last season in the Championship.
Although he was superb at left-back last season for Luton, Justin has played most of his career thus far at right-back.
The Leeds fullback could be tempted by a move to the Premier League after his club missed out on promotion.
The incredibly talented Chelsea youngster would be a superb signing on loan from the Blues for Palace.
