Wan-Bissaka played for England in their 2-1 defeat to France in the under-21 European Championships on Tuesday night, scoring a stoppage-time own goal after a shaky performance.
However, his performances for Palace in the Premier League last season were enough for United to warrant splashing £55m on the right-back.
The 21-year-old nailed down his place in the Palace side and was considered to be one of the best fullbacks in the top-flight last season, although he missed out on a place in the England senior squad to Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kyle Walker.
