Crystal Palace are set to step up their pursuit of Atalanta star Timothy Castagne, according to the printed edition of The Mirror, as cited in a report from HITC.
The Eagles are preparing for life without Aaron Wan-Bissaka and appear to have identified the Belgium international as an ideal replacement for their departing youngster.
Manchester United are poised to wrap up a deal worth up to £50 million for the Palace academy graduate, who enjoyed a fantastic season in the Premier League last term.

Roy Hodgson’s side do not seem to be wasting any time in pursuing a replacement for Wan-Bissaka, and The Mirror reports that Castagne has emerged as their top target.
Palace had initially identified Max Aarons as a possible successor, but Norwich City are determined to retain the services for their promising right-back.
This seems to have led the Eagles to ramp up their efforts to land Castagne from Atalanta, with the player reportedly rated at £20 million.
