Crystal Palace are interested in signing Galatasaray striker Mbaye Diagne, according to Turkish outlet Asksam, cited by Sports Witness.
However, Palace aren’t the only English side interested in Diagne. Southampton have already enquired about the 27-year-old’s availability following his Senegalese prolific campaign in Turkey last season. Brighton are also said to be interested in the Senegalese star.
Diagne scored 21 goals for Kasimpasa in the first half of the previous campaign, and that earnt him a €10 million move to Galatasaray, where he continued to find the back of the net with regularity.
He scored 10 times for his new side in the second half of the season, taking his total tally to 31 goals over the course of the campaign.
Because he only moved in January, Diagne is under contract with Galatasaray for a further four years, so if Palace do decide to make a bid, they may have to stump up a decent amount of cash in order to get the Turkish side to let him leave.
