Everton have returned with an improved offer to sign Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace.
According to claims from Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol via Twitter, the Toffees have submitted a bid worth £55 million for the Eagles attacker, and have also included James McCarthy and Cenk Tosun in their proposal.

Recent reports suggested that Everton’s opening offer to sign Zaha was without any players offered as makeweights, with a fee of £52 million tabled – and subsequently rejected – by Palace.
The Eagles are thought to be holding out for a big, up-front bid for their star man, but the Toffees appear hopeful that their latest move will be of temptation to the South London outfit.
Both McCarthy and Tosun appear to have fallen out of favour at Goodison Park, and with Everton keen to recruit Zaha, it seems they are willing to part ways with two of their fringe players alongside what would be a club-record fee of £55 million.
