Crystal Palace predicted XI: Everton (H)

The summer has certainly gone quickly… because Crystal Palace are back in Premier League action this weekend, with Marco Silva’s Everton travelling to Selhurst Park to kick-off the 2019-20 season.

Undoubtedly, the big talking point going into this one is Wilfried Zaha’s involvement. Will the 26-year-old feature against the team he was desperate to join during the transfer window?

Palace boss Roy Hodgson has confirmed he will play a part and fans will be hoping he starts against tricky opposition.

It’s anyone’s guess whether new midfield duo James McCarthy and Victor Camarasa will play a part, but it could be a very familiar starting line-up with the club’s summer business fairly quiet.

Here, I go through who I think will start for the Eagles on one of the most exciting weekends on the football calendar. Both teams will be vying for a top-half finish this season, so it’s bound to be a competitive one.

matchday.
