Andros Townsend has taken aim at the Crystal Palace media team after a post showing Wilfried Zaha using his skills to take on Manchester United’s Ashley Young went up on the Palace twitter account.
Townsend, who was England teammates with Young in the past, defended the now defender, who was once a winger with United.

Several Spurs and Manchester United fans reacted to the reply on social media.
@22CVR agrees with Townsend, but says that United still aren’t gonna sign him.

Nathan believes that Andros is spot on about the Tweet.

However, several Palace fans disagreed with Townsend’s view of what happened.
@J__CPFC believes that Young deserves all the stick he’s gotten for it.
Twitter: @andros_townsend Sorry Andros, but when it comes to humiliating this cheat, I’m all for it https://t.co/y9I3fVpdkU (@J__CPFC)
Darren jokes that Andros is a laugh at parties.

Read Crystal Palace’s Verdict
Zaha’s skill is certainly good, and Ashley Young certainly can’t cope with handling the Ivorian winger.
However, it’s easy to see why Andros is defending him, as Young is certainly not a defender by trade.
Young is more used to being in Zaha’s position, and taking on defenders rather than being on himself.
Not to take away from Zaha’s skilful play, however, if it was against someone better it would be even more impressive.
