Crystal Palace take on Wolves on Sunday, and the Eagles will be looking to take advantage of Nuno Espirto Santos’ side’s poor recent form.

The Eagles face Wolves on Sunday at Selhurst Park, with Palace looking to pick up their second home win of the season after beating Aston Villa last time at Selhurst.

However, the Eagles will also be looking to recover after a big 4-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last week.

Palace’s opponents, however, will be looking to pick up their first win of the season.

Wolves struggled against Braga on Thursday evening, losing 1-0 in their first Europa League group game.

Nuno’s side didn’t look anything like the Wolves team that impressed many last season, with their trademark pressing football being very absent.

This follows an awful run of form, that sees them sitting in the bottom three without a win so far this season.

Many have said that the European games will see Wolves being unable to repeat their heroics last season, but even without them they have struggled.

Nuno will be looking to pick up a win on Sunday, especially with people now suggesting that his position as Wolves manager could be under threat if this form continues.

Therefore, this could be a huge opportunity for Palace to pick up points, but they will have to be careful to not underestimate their opposition.

Wolves still have quality players such as Raul Jimenez and Ruben Neves, so they cannot be discounted as a top Premier League side.

However, if they continue playing like they did against Braga, then we could be seeing a Palace win at Selhurst this weekend.
