Palace set to miss out on Gabriel Barbosa, with move to Brazil almost certain – Should Palace look elsewhere?
Reported Crystal Palace target Gabriel Barbosa is set to reject a move to Palace, with the striker set to secure a €22 million move back to Brazil.
The striker had been linked with a move to Selhurst Park after his latest loan spell in Brazil ended. However, reports from Fox Sports Brazil suggest that Gabigol is set to Flamengo on a permanent deal.
The striker had been prolific during his loan spell at the club, impressing many with his goalscoring abilities being a huge contrast from how he played for Inter.
This news seemingly ends Palace’s pursuit of the striker.

Palace will now seemingly be looking elsewhere for a striker in January now.
The Eagles have reportedly been looking elsewhere for a new forward, with Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud and Rangers Alfredo Morelos both reported targets for Palace.
At this point, just getting another striker in will be a positive for Palace, but it is disappointing that a move for Gabigol looks to be dead.
