Chelsea have officially had their transfer ban overturned, meaning the club are free to buy players in January and it could spell bad news for Crystal Palace.
As reported by Martyn Ziegler, the Court of Arbitration for Sport has halved Chelsea’s ban.
This will allow Frank Lampard to spend in January should they wish to after missing out on the previous summer window.
Wilfried Zaha is the latest name to be linked with a big-money move to Stamford Bridge.

There’s no official word yet on what Chelsea’s plans are, but you wouldn’t be surprised if this changed the mindset of one or two of their potential targets.
Zaha has been linked with moves to Chelsea and this breaking news could change his view on potentially waiting until the summer if Lampard does come calling.
It’ll certainly have managers like Hodgson looking over their shoulder for the next month or so.
