Derby County and Middlesbrough have joined the race to sign Jack Clarke from Tottenham in the January window.
As per Leeds Live, who cite Football Insider, the player is expected to depart Elland Road after failing to break into their side this season.
Following his permanent move to Tottenham, Clarke returned to Leeds on loan but has struggled for game time, sparking rumours that he could be moved elsewhere in the new year.
Crystal Palace have previously been linked with a move to bring him to the Premier League, despite his struggles in the second tier.

You’d have to think that both Spurs and Clarke would prefer the player to join a Championship side in January.
Clarke is a player that needs to get his development back on track after a disappointing start to the season with Leeds.

At Palace, he would be nothing more than a squad player which is not what Spurs will want to hear.
Should he go on to join either Derby or Middlesbrough, he’ll have the opportunity to flourish once again and prove he’s player of Premier League quality. A top-flight loan move, perhaps to Palace, would make more sense next season.
