Everton fans react to Cenk Tosun’s miss for Palace against Southampton
Cenk Tosun may have gotten his Palace career off to the best of starts against Manchester City, but he had an afternoon to forget against Southampton.
Presented with a great opportunity against the Saints, Tosun smashed the ball over the bar, with the Eagles going down 2-0 to the resurgent Southampton.
After the game, several Palace fans took to Twitter to berate the miss, especially as it was when the game was at 0-0.

However, the majority of reactions came from Everton fans, who were seemingly very keen for Palace to take the Turkish forward on a permanent deal.

Tosun joined the Eagles on loan this month until the end of the season, following a difficult period at Everton that saw him only score 10 goals in 51 appearances for the Toffees, as per Transfermarkt.
