Palace fans fume at club’s deadline day Jordon Ibe link

Jordon Ibe has been linked with a deadline day move to Crystal Palace.

However, the news hasn’t gone down well with plenty of Palace supporters online.

According to Sky Sports’ Transfer Centre blog, Ibe is a late attacking option for the Eagles, who look set to miss out on Jarrod Bowen to West Ham.

The report claims that a deal is not at an advanced stage, but the winger is thought to be a target for Roy Hodgson.

The Athletic’s Dominic Fifiel claim that Celtic are also interested in snapping up the Bournemouth attacker until the end of the season over the coming hours.

It was Hodgson who gave Ibe his Liverpool debut, Sky Sports report, with the 24-year-old now into the final six months of his Cherries contract.

The former Liverpool man has made just two substitute league appearances under Eddie Howe this season, totalling 48 minutes of top-flight action.

So when the news made its way across social media, there was no surprise to see plenty of Eagles fans expressing their frustration at the links.

@AdamDaubeney: Missed out on Bowen if we sign ******* Jordan Ibe it’s so ******* typical Palace and I’m done. We have to be the worst club for business!

matchday.
