French club AS Monaco were left impressed by Alexander Sorloth’s latest performance for Trabzonspor, according to a report on Turkish news outlet Fanatik.
The Ligue 1 side were initially present to keep a close eye on Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi, but after Sorloth’s good display, they turned their attention to the Crystal Palace attacker.
As stated on Turkish Football, Sorloth scored one and set up another as Trabzonspor won.
The Norway international left Palace on a two-year loan deal in August 2019 and the Super Lig side have an option to buy him on a permanent basis for €6m.

Sorloth has been in remarkable scoring form for Trabzonspor this season, netting 19 times in all competitions.
However, as reported earlier this week, Palace failed to include a recall clause in Sorloth’s loan deal, meaning he can’t return to Selhurst Park in the summer.
With Sorloth in such great form, we feel it’s only natural that other teams start to look at a potential deal for him.
We believe that it could be a mistake not including a recall clause, especially with the team currently struggling to score goals. The Eagles have scored the least number of goals in the top-flight this term.
