Crystal Palace fans have heaped praise on winger Wilfried Zaha after his display against Newcastle United.
The Eagles picked up a deserved 1-0 victory at Selhurst Park thank to Patrick van Aanholt’s powerful free-kick beyond Martin Dubravka.
Zaha was dangerous as always and was a nuisance to the Newcastle defence, proven by the fact that Valentino Lazaro was shown a straight red card for bringing the Ivorian down late in the game.
The 27-year-old played one key pass and had the second-most touches of the ball in the Palace team during the victory (WhoScored).
Another statistic which proves that Zaha was having a good game is that he was fouled three times in total by the Newcastle players, which goes some way to show that he was tough to contain.
Zaha, who is valued at £49.5m by Transfermarkt, has three goals and five assists in the Premier League so far this term.
