Arsenal fans hit back at Palace’s dig at the Gunners regarding Zaha
Hundreds of Arsenal fans have hit back at Crystal Palace after the club aimed a dig towards the Gunners on social media.
The official Palace Twitter account posted a video of winger Wilfried Zaha in action against Arsenal, where he was hauled to the floor by Matteo Guendouzi’s rugby-like tackle.
The foul by Newcastle’s Valentino Lazaro last Saturday was also included, with the caption of the video highlighting the dictionary definition of the sport rugby football.
The post has angered many Arsenal fans who can’t believe that Palace are still remembering that challenge from earlier in the season.
Lazaro was sent off for Newcastle in the dying stages of the league clash at Selhurst Park, which Roy Hodgson’s men won 1-0 after Patrick Van Aanholt’s thunderbolt.
The video has now had over 140,000 views on Twitter and has been retweeted almost 900 times on the platform.
These Gunners fans flooded to the post to show their discontent at the video and the idea that the Eagles still care about that tackle.
