Leeds make a late swoop to sign Danny Loader
Leeds United have emerged as a new contender for the signature of free agent Danny Loader, a player who is being targeted by Crystal Palace.
The 19-year-old is now a free agent after his contract with Reading expired and Palace, FC Porto and now Leeds are all showing an interest in signing him, according to a report from the Daily Mail.
The Portuguese side are apparently in advanced talks to sign the teenager and have offered him a three-year contract with wages worth around £19,000 a week but both Palace and Leeds have not given up hope of enticing him to the Premier League with offers of their own.

Loader, who can play as a striker or on either flank, featured in 28 Championship games for Reading last season but he’s decided to leave The Royals in search of a new challenge.
It looks like Porto are still the favourites to sign the teenager but Palace would be wise to make another push for him as he offers a new, fresh attacking talent for The Eagles, one who will not cost them a transfer fee.
