- Crystal Palace eyeing Iraola
- The Eagles need to replace Glasner
- A Conference League triumph could be key
Crystal Palace appear to be placing Andoni Iraola at the top of their managerial wishlist ahead of Oliver Glasner’s departure. The Spaniard is one of the most admired coaches in the Premier League and his future is uncertain.
Glasner is leaving Palace when his contract expires in June but that might also be the case for Iraola at Bournemouth. His current deal is also up at the end of the season and there is no indication he intends to extend.
Reports claim that the Eagles are interested in Iraola, but winning the Conference League could be key. He is likely to receive offers from elsewhere, although Tottenham Hotspur are out of contention after Roberto De Zerbi’s appointment earlier this week.
Iraola has overseen nine wins and seven defeats in 31 Premier League games so far this season. His Cherries side sit 13th in the table, one place above Glasner’s men.
