- Crystal Palace 2026-27 fixtures released
- Eagles have some exciting encounters in store
- Who they face in the first half of the season
Crystal Palace will embark on their first Premier League campaign under Pierre Sage and we now know the full fixture list. The French coach succeeded Oliver Glasner last week and is tasked with building on the incredible success the Austrian achieved.
The Eagles are in for an interesting start to Sage’s reign in the top flight and have plenty of exciting encounters in store. They will want to improve on their 15th-placed finish which largely came down to prioritising the UEFA Conference League.
With that said, Read Crystal Palace delves into all 38 fixtures and what can be expected.
An interesting August
First up for Sage’s men is a trip to Hill Dickinson Stadium to face Everton on August 22nd. This will mark the Frenchman’s first competitive game in charge and it’s a fixture that often proves tricky for the South Londoners.
Palace then face Manchester City at Selhurst Park on August 29th, and that promises to be a must-watch affair. It will be the first time since 2016 that Pep Guardiola isn’t in the opposite dugout.
New faces meet in September
September sees the Eagles come up against three sides they will feel confident they can beat. A trip to Craven Cottage on September 5th will again mean Sage faces another new manager as former Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa looks set to replace Marco Silva at Fulham.
A home clash with the newly promoted Ipswich Town is next up on September 12th. The Tractor Boys are back in the big time but will be relegation candidates.
The final game in September sees Palace face Leeds United at Elland Road on September 19th. Fans won’t need reminding of the 4-1 loss the team suffered last season.
Tension in October
One game most Palace fans will be eager to attend is Nottingham Forest’s visit to Selhurst Park on October 10th. The two sides are starting to become rivals following last season’s events, with the Eagles demoted from the Europa League to the Conference League.
A derby clash with Brighton & Hove Albion follows on October 17th and Sage will get a taste of an English rivalry for the first time. Another cagey affair can be expected when the South London outfit host Newcastle United on October 24th.
The final October fixture is away at Tottenham Hotspur on October 31st. Palace secured a 3-1 win in the same fixture last season.
A November to remember
Palace initially wanted Andoni Iraola to replace Glasner but the Spaniard opted to take over from Arne Slot at Liverpool. Steve Parish will no doubt be keen for Sage to make him regret that decision when the two sides meet at Selhurst Park on November 7th.
Then it’s an encounter with two newcomers as Coventry City host the Eagles on November 21st. EFL Championship Play-off winners Hull City then make the trip to South London on November 28th.
A stacked December
The festive period is always the busiest and Palace have six games to contend with along with a Europa League campaign. They include three consecutive games against potential top-four contenders: Chelsea on December 2nd, Aston Villa on December 5th, and Manchester United on December 12th.
After this, the Eagles get closer to Christmas and face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on December 19th. A battle with the champions Arsenal at Selhurst Park is on Boxing Day (December 26th) before a meeting with Bournemouth on December 30th.
Jump starting January
The final game of the first half of the 2026-27 campaign comes on January 2nd against Brentford. We will have some idea by then of how the team’s first season under Sage could pan out.
