- Crystal Palace know their Premier League fixture list
- A supercomputer predicts their finish
- It isn’t an improvement on last season
A supercomputer has predicted how the Premier League table will finish next season after the fixture list for the campaign was released. The 38 game schedule in which Crystal Palace will try to balance with another European campaign has been confirmed.
Palace finished 15th in the league last season after prioritising the UEFA Conference League in the dying embers. The Eagles got the job done, beating Rayo Vallecano 1-0 in the final.
That victory means Palace will play in next season’s Europa League aswell as the league and domestic cup competitions. It could be another extremely busy campaign for the team and new manager Pierre Sage.
Palace tipped for a case of deja-vu
A supercomputer reckons Europa League football might influence Palace’s Premier League season. A computer model has been used to predict where each team finishes.
The Express claims the computer “analysed several factors, including player quality, manager quality, historical trends, their form during the 2025/26 season, betting market fluctuations and other variables.”
Palace are tipped to finish 15th once again and with less points than last season. It predicts that Sage’s first campaign will see him pick up 41 points, including 10 wins and 17 defeats.
It should be noted that this prediction comes at the very start of the summer transfer window. There is plenty of business expected to take place and as many as four signings are reportedly on the club’s agenda.
The computer predicts Arsenal to win the title, with Manchester City finishing second, Liverpool third and Manchester United fourth. All three of the newly promoted sides, Hull City, Ipswich Town and Coventry City are tipped to go down and finish in that order.
All eyes on August
A strong start to the season will be crucial for Sage as he’ll want to ensure his team are thriving from the get-go. The campaign kicks off with a trip to Hill Dickinson Stadium on August 22nd to face Everton.
We have already given our verdict on the first half of the Premier League campaign following the fixtures being announced. By January it will probably be easy to assess whether Sage can improve on last season’s top-flight finish.
