No, do not panic. This is not another article about our corrupt international governing body of football, FIFA.
We’re on the lookout for the Ultimate Palace Player of FIFA 15 on Xbox One. We’re running a one day tournament on Sunday 14th April between 14:00 until the knockout tournament finishes. The tournament will be straight knockout and games will run simultaneously. The winner of the tournament will win a copy of FIFA16 on the day of release. Below are the rules:
*To keep things fair and to find the ultimate Palace FIFA player, every team will play as Crystal Palace (Why would you want to play with anybody else anyway?) with the latest squad updates. Lineup and tactics are your choice, obviously!
*There will be a thirty minute window in which to start your game. If your opponent does not show in this time, you will be given an automatic 3-0 win.
*Matches will be played on Xbox Live
*There will be a maximum of four rounds
*Match halves are 6 minutes long.
*If a game is drawn, it must be replayed. This is due to FIFA not adding the ability to take penalties after a drawn match online. If it is drawn again, the away goal rule will come into effect.
*Entry fee is £5.00 made payable via PayPal or Bank Transfer and this will guarantee your entry.
*The winner gains free entry to defend his or her crown in the next tournament.
*Entry is first come first serve basis.
*We reserve the right to cancel with notice and if this does happen, all monies WILL be refunded.
*The runner up will also receive a small monetary prize.
