According to ITV, Crystal Palace midfielder Jonathan Williams is set to join Championship side Nottingham Forest on loan for the rest of the season.
The Welsh international has been consistently sent out on loan for the past three years now, enjoying spells at Ipswich Town prior to this proposed move.
The BBC have been reporting that alongside Forest, both Wolves and Derby County expressed an interest in signing the 21-year-old who is widely tipped by the Eagles’ supporters to have an extremely bright future.
Because of frequent injuries, Williams only made 11 club appearances last season, with 7 of those coming in the Championship with Ipswich, meaning he only featured the remaining four times for the Eagles.
As he aims to regain full fitness, Chris Coleman left Williams out of the Wales squad for their upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers against Cyprus and Israel.
If reports are to believed, the confirmation of Williams’ loan to Forest will take place in the coming days.
