Gayle puts transfer rumours to bed
It is being reported that Dwight Gayle is set to put the current transfer rumours to bed, by committing his long-term future to Crystal Palace.
A number of Premier League clubs have been linked with moves for the young English striker, but it seems as though the ex-Peterbrough striker isn’t wanting a move away from Selhurst Park.

To the outside, a loan move away from South London would be the best decision for both parties, seeing as though it looks like Gayle has fallen further down the pecking order because of Emmanuel Adebayor’s arrival. However, it looks as though he is set to stay and fight for his place in Alan Pardew’s side.
In other news, Eagles boss Pardew ruled out a move away from Selhurst for goalkeeper Julian Speroni, who is Crystal Palace through and through.
