Crystal Palace 1 – 1 Swansea: Four Findings

Crystal Palace earned a well-fought point at the Liberty Stadium against opponents Swansea, with defender Scott Dann scoring to help the Eagles come back after they slipped behind from a Gylfi Sigurdsson free kick.

The Eagles had started brightly in Wales however soon saw themselves behind as ex-Spurs midfielder Sigurdssson beautifully curled the ball into the back of the Palace net.

After the break, Pardew altered the formation as well as introducing Marouane Chamakh to play up top with Emmanuel Adebayor. Soon after, Scott Dann latched onto the end of Jordon Mutch’s flick on from the corner and the 29 year old centre back fired past Lukasz Fabianski in the Swansea goal.

The draw gives Palace their first point of 2016 and ends a five match losing streak in the Premier League.

Here are our four findings from the match.
