Crystal Palace star, and arguably the club’s Player of the Season, Wilfried Zaha, is a doubt to face his former side Manchester United in the FA Cup final after suffering a muscular strain in his leg.
As reported by ITV, Zaha has a strain just above his hamstring and is in serious danger of missing the final at Wembley on May 21st.
Palace are likely to keep him out of the last two league games against Stoke City and Southampton respectively as they want to do all they can to have him fit and ready for the showpiece match up with Louis van Gaal’s side.
Pardew revealed that Zaha first felt the injury before the semi-final win over Watford but played through it. However, after a scan earlier this week, it was revealed that he had suffered a slight tear to the tendon above his hamstring.
Pardew also admitted that even if Zaha does feature at Wembley, he will be vulnerable to another injury, so it remains to be seen if he decides to risk him.
