Crystal Palace are interested in signing midfielder Dale Stephens from Brighton and Hove Albion, according to a report from the Croydon Advertiser.
The 27-year-old had arguably the best season of his career during the 2015/16 season. He scored seven goals in 45 Champions appearances and was a key member of the Brighton side.
His career so far has been one of steady progression. He began his life as a professional with Bury in League Two, before moving up into League One with Oldham Athletic before progressing to playing in the Championship for Brighton.

The likes of Jamie Vardy and Charlie Austin have shown that players can have an impact in the Premier League having moved up through the divisions and if Palace do sign Stephens, they’ll be hoping he can do the same.
Newly promoted Burnley are also interested in the midfielder and reportedly had a bid for him rejected last week.
