Alan Pardew has denied reports, linking Crystal Palace with a move for Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic who has failed to make an impact under new manager Antonio Conte.
The 32-year-old has failed to make an appearance for the side he joined in 2008 since the 3-0 defeat to Arsenal towards the start of the season in September at the Emirates.

After being asked in a pre-match press conference this morning ahead of Palace’s fixture against Burnley this weekend about the Serbian defender, Pardew said: “There’s no interest from us at all.”
However, the Eagles boss has hinted at a position he could be looking to add depth to in the January transfer window, after the injury of Pape Souare in a car accident on the M4 in September.
“We lost Pape Souare and he’s been a blow to us,” he said.
“The left side of our pitch, at left-back, is an area where we haven’t got as covered as we would have liked.

“Obviously, it was an injury which wasn’t sustained on the football pitch as well, which makes it even more of a blow.
“That is an area we might need to look at in the window if Pape doesn’t come back to us.
“That’s my only concern in the group really. Everywhere else I think we have good cover and I think we’re a strong team.”
