Manchester City are the visitors to Selhurst Park this weekend as they clash in the FA Cup for only the fourth time, with the side from the north-west being the most successful in these ties.

The Eagles won the first FA Cup fixture between the two sides 2-1 in 1921 but since then it has been downhill, with the most embarrassing being the tie played in 1926 when Palace were defeated 11-4. The most recent game took place in 1981, which saw Saturday’s visitors win 4-1.

Palace have failed to win a game in five against Manchester City, with the last cup game between the two sides, in the League Cup last season, seeing the Eagles defeated 5-1 at the Ethiad.
