Palace midfielder offered to Turkish side Besiktas

Crystal Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye has been offered to Turkish side Besiktas, according to Fotospor.

The report suggests that former Chelsea and Newcastle striker Demba Ba is trying to arrange a deal that would see the French midfielder, a good friend of Ba’s, move to Turkey if the Eagles were to be relegated.

Ba has made contact with both Cabaye and Besiktas over a possible deal, but the report suggest it would only be feasible if the club get relegated from the Premier League.

Cabaye joined the club back in 2015, when Alan Pardew was in charge, leaving Paris Saint-Germain for £10 million, something that was seen as quite the coup for Palace at the time.

Palace sit 17th in the Premier League, just three points above the relegation zone.

Back-to-back victories for Sam Allardyce’s side have eased relegation fears around the club, with the 2-0 win over West Brom lifting them out of the bottom three this weekend.
