Crystal Palace’s midfield pairing of James McArthur and Luka Milivojevic have both been called up to their national sides for the international matches that will take place at the end of the month.
McArthur was called up to the Scotland squad for their upcoming games against Canada and Slovenia. They will play Canada in a friendly on 22nd March and four days later on 26th March they face Slovenia in a 2018 World Cup qualifier.
Since signing from Wigan Athletic back in August 2013, McArthur has won 12 caps for Scotland making him Palace’s most-capped Scottish international of all-time. Having made his international debut back in 2010 he has since been caped 27 times for the Scottish national team.
Luka Milivojevic was also called up to his national team and will represent Serbia in their 2018 World Cup qualifier against Georgia on Friday 25th March.
The Serbs will be aiming to finish top of Group D with them currently sitting in second place two points behind the Republic of Ireland and with Wales two points behind them in third.
Since being called up to play for his county back in November 2012, Milivojevic has earned 19 caps, four of which came this season as he played in all four of their qualifiers.
