GALLERY: Last time at Stamford Bridge – Chelsea vs Palace

Last season at Stamford Bridge, goals from Bakary Sako and Joel Ward ensured that Crystal Palace rose to second in the Premier League table, after four games, with the Eagles securing a 2-1 victory against Jose Mourinho’s side.

The win was Palace’s third of the season, leaving them three points behind league leaders Manchester City, who had defeated the hosts 3-0 the week before. It also left the Eagles a point ahead of eventual champions last season, Leicester City.

However, ahead of this season’s fixture, things couldn’t be much different. Chelsea are in good form and currently sit ten points clear, at the top of the Premier League table, whereas Palace continue to attempt to push clear of the relegation zone.
