A move back to Marseille is ‘conceivable’ according to French media, linking Yohan Cabaye with a return to the Ligue 1.
L’Equipe, cited on Sport Witness, claim that the player is very much interested in the project that is happening at Marseille.
The former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder has been linked with a return to France, with Marseille being taken over and looking to secure a number of high-profile signings.
Marseille signed Dimitri Payet in the January transfer window after he handed in a transfer request and refused to play for West Ham.
The French side are managed by Rudi Garcia, who coached Cabaye during his time with Lille, and he is thought to be keen on working with the manager again.
Cabaye has openly spoken about a return to France in the past but admitted he was focused on securing Premier League safety before deciding his own future.
