Liverpool are interested in signing Crystal Palace goalkeeper Steve Mandanda, according to French outlet, Telefoot.
The report suggests that Jurgen Klopp’s side will look to the former Marseille man to provide competition for Belgian shot-stopper, Simon Mignolet.
The goalkeeper position has been a problem for Klopp this season, with summer signing Loris Karius yet to show signs of adapting to the Premier League.
Both goalkeepers have made a number of high-profile mistakes throughout the season, but Migonlet has been trusted with the number one spot of late with a number of impressive performances.
Like Karius, Mandanda has also suffered since joining Palace in the summer.
The French keeper has not played since November and has been sidelined with a knee injury. Wayne Hennessey has been the preferred choice under both Alan Pardew and Sam Allardyce throughout the season.
He has since been linked with an immediate return to Marseille following their recent takeover.
