Brighton eye deal for Palace man

According to reports from Sky Sports, newly-promoted Brighton and Hove Albion are the latest club looking interested in signing Palace striker Fraizer Campbell to ready their team for the Premier League next season.

The striker’s three-year contract runs out in the summer at the end of June after being signed by former manager Tony Pulis from Cardiff City in 2014.

Campbell has reportedly still not yet received a new contract offer from his current club.

He has only scored eight goals in 44 appearances for the Eagles. So far this season he has only been able to make 11 appearances for the club, all of which from the substitutes bench in the Premier League, along with a start in the FA Cup.

The short amount of playing time that Campbell has had in this three years at Selhurst Park could play into the hands of Brighton as Chris Hughton looks to strengthen his side ready for the challenge of Premier League football.
