Crystal Palace linked with move for Stefano Denswil

Crystal Palace are interested in signing Club Brugge defender Stefano Denswil, according to Belgian publication Voetbal Nieuws.

The 24-year-old centre-back played under new Palace boss Frank De Boer when the pair were at Ajax.

De Boer actually sold the player back in 2015 but, if these reports are to be believed, he could be about to re-sign him and bring him to Selhurst Park.

There have been numerous centre-backs linked with a move to Palace this summer with Mamadou Sakho, Thomas Vermaelen and Adil Rami just a few of the names mentioned and we can now add Denswil to that list.

The former Dutch U21 international has been linked with Everton and Norwich City in the past but a move to either never materialised.

Time will tell if a switch to Selhurst Park does come about of if Denswil ends up being added to the list of names who were linked with Palace but never signed.
