Crystal Palace host newly-promoted Huddersfield Town at Selhurst Park on the opening day of the season. It’s a game that will see the Terriers play their first top-flight game since 1972, which was coincidentally against the Eagles in South London, a game that finished 0-0.
It is also Frank de Boer’s first game in-charge of Palace at Selhurst Park in the Premier League, a game that fans have been looking forward to since the end of last season – hoping to see their team move onto bigger and better things, this campaign under the Netherlands-born boss.
