Frank de Boer’s tenure at Crystal Palace could prove to be an incredibly short-lived one.
According to a report from the Guardian this evening, the hierarchy at Selhurst Park have been hugely underwhelmed by the Dutchman’s start to life in South London, and are considering wielding the axe just three games into the season.
De Boer was preferred to a number of different candidates in the summer, with the Eagles looking to establish a defined style and way of playing. However, the former Ajax boss has failed to convince, having lost all three of his opening league games.

Palace are sat in 19th place at this early stage, and fans are growing increasingly restless with the club’s current position.
It’s stated in the report that numerous concerns have been raised about De Boer’s tactical inflexibility, along with the issue that he is unable to address his ideas to players, who are struggling to adjust to the three at the back system.
