Former England manager Roy Hodgson would be interested in the Crystal Palace job if it were to become available.
The Express claim that the former Fulham boss has told close friends that he wants to return to management after leaving his post with England after Euro 2016.
Despite his high profile failings whilst in charge of England, Hodgson is confident about his chances of a return to day-to-day management.
Frank de Boer, who has only taken charge of three Premier League games at Selhurst Park, is already thought to be under severe pressure.
Palace are yet to pick up any points this season and de Boer’s decision to try and switch to a 3-4-3 system has backfired on him.
The Dutchman has held talks with Steve Parish over the international break, with a change to a more rigid system looking likely.
Sean Dyche, who Palace were interested in over the summer, is thought to be the favourite to replace de Boer.
