Crystal Palace reportedly eyeing improved Tosun bid
Crystal Palace are reportedly plotting a new and improved offer for Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun in January.
The Eagles interest in the Turkish international was well documented throughout the course of the summer transfer window, and they failed in a late attempt to bring him to Selhurst Park.
Tosun has admitted himself that he’d be open to a switch to the Premier League in the near future, and it doesn’t look like Palace’s interest has eased up.
According to Fotomac, a Turkish news outlet, as reported by the Croydon Advertiser, Besiktas now value Tosun at €25m – a price Palace would be willing to pay.
Tosun is playing well for Besiktas, and it comes as no surprise to see them upping his valuation. He has netted four times already this season, and has also chipped in with two assists.
Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur were linked with Tosun last summer too, and could very well rival Palace in their pursuit of the forward if he maintains his current form.
