Ruben Loftus-Cheek has hailed the regular game-time he is receiving at Crystal Palace, after joining on loan from Chelsea.

The midfielder is currently on a season-long loan from the Premier League champions.

He has started six Premier League matches this season for Palace, with eight in all competitions.

Loftus-Cheek has been called up to the England senior squad for the first time in his career this month.

England host Germany and Brazil at Wembley over the next fortnight and Loftus-Cheek will be hoping to get some minutes under his belt and make his senior bow.

The central midfielder is yet to score a goal for Palace this season, but has managed an assist and been praised for his impressive displays.

Speaking to The Daily Star, Loftus-Cheek said this:

That is why I came away from Chelsea to get game time. I think that is the most important thing for me at the moment.

Experience, fitness, just getting used to playing in the Premier League week-in, week out. That is what I am getting.

Loftus-Cheek had to leave Chelsea after Antonio Conte decided that he would not be in his plans to be a regular starter.
