Crystal Palace are reportedly discussing a move for Anderlecht defender Kara Mbodji.
According to an exclusive report from Turkish-Football, the Eagles are among those in the Premier League interested in landing the towering centre-back, who has been superb for Anderlecht in recent seasons.
Kara is a player who has long been linked with a move to the English top flight, and his agent Ediz Balkan has confirmed that a host of Premier League clubs have held initial talks.
Crystal Palace are sure to be keen on landing new faces in the January transfer window, with Roy Hodgson’s side still clearly lacking depth all over the pitch.
Kara would go some way in bolstering Palace’s defensive unit, providing competition for the likes of Mamadou Sakho and Scott Dann in the middle of defence.
However, Palace are joined by the likes of Leicester, Swansea and Newcastle in their interest too, if the report is to be believed.
