Predicted XI: Everton (H)

Roy Hodgson is now entering his eighth game in charge of Crystal Palace after taking over from Frank de Boer in September, but despite a perceivable upturn in effort levels and potency in front of goal, the Eagles are still rock bottom of the Premier League with just one win.

Next up for Hodgson’s men is another real six-pointer with another relegation candidate in Everton who are yet to settle on a successor for Ronaldo Koeman, with David Unsworth still in temporary charge.

Unsworth earned his first win as Toffees boss last time out against Watford but they’re still only two points outside the relegation zone with the second-worst goal difference in the division – with Palace’s being unsurprisingly worse.

Hodgson will be buoyed by the potential return of Christian Benteke to the starting XI this weekend, and with that in mind, here is a look at our predicted XI.

matchday.
