Crystal Palace are being linked with a late move for Burnley striker Ashley Barnes this month.
According to Sky Sports, as cited in a report from the Daily Star, the Eagles are keen to land the powerful striker as they aim to bolster their attacking reinforcements.
Roy Hodgson has been on the lookout for a new striker throughout the January transfer window but with only a few days remaining, he is yet to recruit one to offer backup and competition to Christian Benteke.

Inter Milan forward Eder and Fiorentina star Khouma Babacar were heavily linked with moves to Selhurst Park. However, it seems the Eagles are also considering a swoop for Barnes, who has only 18 months remaining on his current contract at Turf Moor.
The 28-year-old is rated highly by Clarets boss Sean Dyche and it’s unlikely that Burnley will let go of Barnes for a cheap price, though.
Chelsea have also been linked with a surprise move for the Burnley man.
