Crystal Palace have had a €10m offer for FC Midtjylland forward Alexander Sorloth rejected this week.
According to Ekstra Bladet, via Sport Witness, Palace offered €5m, with €5m in added bonuses.
Midtjylland are unhappy with the bonuses. The report claims that the Danish club wants a larger fee upfront.
Ekstra Bladet report that they are content with a fee of €10m, but Palace will have to offer more than €5m as a starting fee to secure a deal for Sorloth.
This is the second offer for Sorloth that Palace have had rejected. They have already had an offer of €5m and €2m in bonuses turned down this month.
Palace will now have to come back with a third offer for Sorloth if they want to secure a deal before Wednesday’s deadline.
The report does claim that an agreement is likely, with Palace having the money to afford the deal for the Norwegian international.
