In this week’s e-Crystal Palace Podcast, I review the game against Newcastle United by giving you my match review, player rankings as well as my Man of the Match.
In a game of two halves, Palace drew 1-1 to share the spoils. Following very poor defending from Roy Hodgson’s men, Mohamed Diame scored from a corner for Newcastle to hand them the lead midway through the first half. But the Eagles captain, Luka Milivojevic, scored his sixth goal of the campaign – and fifth from the spot – on 55 minutes and although Palace applied plenty of pressure in the second half, they couldn’t quite find a way to seal the win their performance merited.
Was it a penalty? Why is our injury luck so bad? Should we stick to the 4-4-2 system or change to a 4-3-3 system? Will the new signings improve the squad?
