Tottenham eyeing move for Zaha
Mauricio Pochettino has made Wilfired Zaha one of his top priorities after signing a new Tottenham contract, reports the Mail Online.
The Spurs boss signed a five-year deal worth around £8.5 million a year to stay with the club, and expects a considerable budget to help him take the club to the next level.
The Argentine wants £100 million to guarantee trophies with Palace star Zaha, Manchester United’s Anthony Martial and Fulham wonder kid Ryan Sessegnon on their wish list as Tottenham look for at least one big signing before they move to their new stadium.
Zaha has had an impressive season. The 25-year-old has scored nine goals this season, the best return of his Premier League career.
His form was noticed at the end of the season as he won April’s Premier League player of the month award after scoring four goals which sealed safety for the South London club.
Pochettino sees Zaha as a player that can take Spurs to the next level. His trickery down the left would allow Son Heung-Min to be a permanent player up top.
Palace, however, will be hoping to keep hold of their star man as they look to push on under Roy Hodgson next season.
