Crystal Palace and Leicester City are both interested in signing Jack Butland from Stoke City this summer, according to a report from Sky Sports.
It’s claimed that Chelsea have lined up the England international as a potential replacement for Thibaut Courtois, with the Belgian looking set for a move to Real Madrid.
However, the report also indicates that Palace have expressed an interest in signing Butland, who Stoke apparently value in the region of £30 million.
The shot-stopper is believed to be keen on leaving the Potters this summer after they were consigned to relegation down to the Championship last season.

However, a key desire of Butland’s is, according to Sky Sports, to play for a club competing in the top six of the Premier League next term, which would be a stumbling block for Palace if they were to pursue a deal for the player.
The Eagles completed the signing of Vicente Guaita on a free transfer this summer after reaching a pre-contract agreement with the ex-Getafe man earlier in the year, indicating that they are perhaps not in the market for a new goalkeeper.
Nevertheless, Roy Hodgson’s men have been linked with Butland by Sky Sports, with the former Birmingham City star continuing to be the subject of much speculation.
