Crystal Palace have made a €12m offer for Fenerbahce midfielder Josef De Souza.
According to Turkish outlet Star, Crystal Palace have made their move for the midfielder as they look to bolster their midfield options.
The report claims that Fenerbahce are willing to sell, due to FFP restrictions, and could be tempted by Palace’s offer.
Star also say that the transfer should be completed if De Souza is able to be granted a work permit to move to England.
The two clubs remain in talks over a deal, with De Souza reportedly interested in leaving Turkey.
Palace are thought to have dropped their interest in West Ham midfielder Chiekhou Kouyate, due to his wage demands.
The club appear to have moved on swiftly to tie up a deal for De Souza in the coming days.
The 29-year-old defensive midfielder scored six goals in 43 appearances for his club last season.
He has also been capped three times by Brazil at international level.
