Promising Southend United midfielder Dru Yearwood is being linked with a move to Crystal Palace.
According to TEAMtalk, the youngster has been attracting attention from both Palace and Brentford after impressing for the League One outfit.
The report claims that the Premier League side have been keeping a close eye on the player for some time now and want to conclude a deal for him in January.
Brentford may well feel that they are in a better position to offer the player first-team football, something that could boost their chances of completing a deal ahead of Palace.
Yearwood has come through the ranks at Southend and made his professional debut back in 2017.
At 18 years of age, Yearwood is highly rated at Southend and is likely to attract a wealth of interest in January.
It is yet to be seen if Palace would consider him a first-team player or loan him back to Southend in order to get regular football under his belt.
