Santos are keen to keep hold of Crystal Palace target and Inter striker Gabriel Barbosa.
According to reports in Italy, the Brazilian side want to extend his loan deal with the club, despite suggestions that he is set to return to the San Siro.
Gabigol, as he is also known as, has enjoyed a fruitful loan spell back in Brazil after a tricky start to life in Italy.
The player’s loan deal with Santos is set to come to an end in the near future and his form in Brazil has led to talk of a move to the Premier League in January.
Palace, Everton and West Ham have all been credited with an interest in signing the player following a series talks with ‘super agent’ Kia Joorabchian.
Inter have been keen to take advantage of his new-found form and cash in on the player, but Santos are doing all they can to keep the striker for another year.
